I counted 24 players in our squad, that's assuming that we don't need to include Loftus-Cheek, Rakip and Riedewald as they are all classed as under 21 players so don't have to be registered in the 25 man squad but we can still use them. So it means there is an available place for a free agent. Is there anyone we can sign that would be useful to us?

I'm certain its U21's that have been here for an amount of years, so Rakip and Riedewald don't count? Correct me if wrong...

EDIT: I've just found our 25man squad from August and Riedewald got in as an U21, I'm thinking of the homegrown quota rule.

With your 24 players are you including Dann in that list?

Presumably if he is out for the whole season then they wouldn’t include him - unless he might offer cover in May for instance?

So I manage a Workshop which provides a safe learning environment for blokes struggling with PTSD and other mental health issues. Being a Palace fan isn't listed yet.

I have been thinking this ever since I read his contract was cancelled. He might be poison in the dressing room if you are to believe some stories, but in footballing terms he is just the kind of player we could do with. Would be hungry to show he still has it too.

If we had Zaha, CB and Townsend injured, we would have no front line.

I can't believe we haven't brought in a decent winger or something.

I know we have a lot of gaps in the squad but the depth is just absolutely s***e.

Hammers fielded a decent team even with all those injuries, if we had 9 first teamers out we'd be stretching as far as CPFC U14's ffs, shambles.

The main free agents we should look at, in my opinion, are Nasri, Sagna and Alex Song.
We could even try for Anthony Stokes so we have another forward in the squad now Sako is injured. Maybe even Watson or William Vainqueur, both midfielders.

The club should definitely try and get one of these players though, would really help us out. However, I very much doubt we will get any of them
