I know very little about these players before they came to Palace. But it will be interesting to know what the oracles on the more obscure European leagues might think. Will Rakip, Jach and Sorloth be successful at Palace?

Sorloth is the one that i think could become a top player. Apparently Roy thinks he has enormous potential. But i don't know much about the other two and how good they might be

Yes and of course when these new players take a few games to settle in and become an integrated part of the team, many on here will be saying 'told you so, they're rubbish'. Same old, same old instant gratification demanded by many who are clueless about the sport.

I must admit I was "Clueless" about these players.Never heard of them until I was aware of our interest and I only know about them from what people have told me. For all our sakes let's hope they prove shrewd acquisitions.Let's NOT dismiss them without seeing them perform.I understand both Rakip and Sorloth haven't played for a while so they might not 'Hit the ground running' and will need time to settle in accordingly we might need to be patient with them. Potential maybe. But we needed two premier league experienced forwards who would score a goal or two and get us out of the mess we're in at the moment.

Hard to make an impression as a striker fed on scraps. I suspect he will polarise opinion. With our pretty rich crop of CB, I suspect it might be a while before we see Jach play in any capacity. Rakip might be introduced earlier from the bench in RLC's absence. All complete pub chat guess work of course as I am not sufficiently informed to make any realistic prediciton on any of them. Subject to that caveat, I will say that the player to make the biggest long-term impression on this club will be Rakip. I just think he is a prodigious talent who will be allowed to bed in under the radar.

Oh no! Three more ‘tricky’ names to learn. I still haven’t got my tongue around Millovevo...., Miljoveov..., Luka!! And he’s been with us a year. Actually maybe what I just typed sounds a bit rude
Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes) |

Sorry to be a naysayer, but how can Rakip make a long-term impression if he is on loan with us until the end of the season. Or did we manage to pull of a right to buy agreement? I though he had joined Benfica from Malmo in December, but for some reason couldn't play for them until next season.

Was looking at our squad and likely first team last night, it struck me that we have a very international one. Probably noticed it more as the players each had their home country flag next to their name. Very few English players - Dann, Tomkins, Townsend, Kelly, Ward - have I missed anyone? This isn't a criticism merely an observation - possibly our most international squad ever.
