I wouldn’t be surprised if he all gives up and leaves this club at this point. No proper signings. Deals collapsing left right and centre. I’m sorry that the upper echelon of the club have once again screwed up. Let’s keep our fingers crossed for Roy. Because he will have to do some sort of miracles with the team now. Heck. I reckon he will play as the f***ing goalkeeper as we won’t have anything till next season.

Our team is good enough to stay up. And Roy's far too noble a man to just walk away, especially now. But he's still been let down massively. Honestly nothing at this club disgusts me more than our chariman's treatment of the greatest manager I've seen at our club in my lifetime. A man who worked miracles with our squad and just an overall wonderful human being. If we stay up, it's ENTIRELY down to him and him alone. Roy’s experienced enough, and intelligent enough, to realise not every player he asks DF/SP to try to bring in will get over the line. He’s got three of the players he wanted, strengthened the squad and is now in a better position to push on with a strong finish to the season.

There is far too much whingeing going on here. OK, we didn't get a eeper in the window. We did get three players in that improve the overall depth of the squad. Let's hope Sako isn't hurt too badly. both Townsend and Sakho are back from injury, Kelly is playing well at CB so we can weather the loss of Dann. LIlle probably played extreme hardball over their player so that deal got scuppered. It wasn't the best transfer window I ever saw but it's far from the worst. Now let's crack on and finish the season strongly and see Palace in the top flight for a sixth year.

It looks like the Absolute Radio jocks were right. One said he overheard a Prem Chairman talking in a coffee bar that his manager is extremely unhappy with the transfer dealings. It must be us because our Soho office is 50 yards from the Radio Stn

I'm furious we let Arsenal take Aubameyang from under our noses.

Window after window, manager after manager. Roy will join the likes of Pulis and Allardyce in leaving at the end of the season due to our terrible record in transfer dealings. Two players were unable to join because we left it so late that their clubs couldn't find a replacement in time when we had the whole month. We try and look tough in negotiations and then wet our pants when time starts to run out.
