We were never getting Giroud. Sturridgeis another injury prone striker. We’ll get someone good enough.

As I said on other posts, we are now an established Premier League club yet we keep shopping at Aldi, and Lidl's for basement bargains and reduced items/

Wilf was the last player to come from our youth set up. That seems to have gone to Rack S..T

We should also move from Beckenham training ground and come back into Surrey,

I have faith, but it’s not looking great with all the targets we have been linked with going to other clubs, Brighton have two new strikers now, Watford with a keeper we were linked with, sako off to the French league ... and barns, well apparently we are no way near his valuation ... it’s a tad concerning

And no chance of either this window. What a shambles.

Sturridge won't last 3 games before getting injured.

Giroud is top 4 player so no chance we'd get him.

Damn, how could we have missed out on Giroud and to Chelsea, what have they ever done.

And as for Sturridge, we should have got him in, sod the loan rules, we could have got him in without telling anyone he is on loan. The Board have dropped the ball there. Let's hope we get the bid for Lukaku right, or we're down.

Mr Palaceman why do you bother coming on here when you clearly know nothing about football.

Thinly disguised irony - I hope.

To be fair, we seem to be window shopping at Aldi and Lidl. Then popping into Waitrose at 5 minutes before closing to see if we can pick up some last minute bargains.

Or we could have returned the loan player who is allegedly out for the rest of the season anyway

I haven’t really posted on the transfer window situation until now. I cannot believe it has gone to the deadline to get a striker. Completely ridiculous. Madness. Stupid. We surely cannot miss our again can we?

Logic would say we have about 5 targets lined up and on day 1 of the window opening go in with a big bid and secure our man. In our desperate position I don’t care if we pay 20% over the odds. We need to dig ourselves out of this mess.

Bollocks to there being a chain effect. Why don’t we start it and let everyone else worry for once.
