He's a mercenary for sure.

But, what would you do in the same position?

Hopefully he's not in the squad tomorrow, but at the time of writing it doesn't look hopeful.

Why do these players even need an agent?

I mean, I understand the need if you're a lesser known player and you need an agent to offer you to English clubs to which he has access.

But why would Sanchez agree to the agent getting 10 million? What if United says "look lad, the only way we're giving you what you want is if you let go of your manager"? Would he not want to become the best paid in the PL unless an agent gets 10 million? What's that all about?
