Any brits aware of anyone who had a first hand account of this incident? What do you all think of it? Hoax? Cover-up? Real deal? Misunderstanding? From my light reading of it, it appears to be a bit of a misunderstanding on the part of the MP's who walked through the woods that night.

Seemingly reliable military personnel report strange lights and behaviour from a craft in the woods......pretty much end of story. It has to be filed under, 'I don't know'.....like most UFO stuff that isn't likely to be a hoax.

The fact it was 'witnessed' by many suggests there is certainly more to it than meets the eye. I'm certainly open to the idea that it was a real life 'interaction' but clearly like anything...facts are what count.

Given the source of the 'practical joke' that only lends more supposition to there having been a cover up...but again, without the facts, who knows?

Saw a documentary about it years ago. Remember the lighthouse explanation etc.. Lots of contradictions in eyewitness reports, weather played a part. Good story tho. Just out of interest, what do you think they're covering up? Do you think it might have been a UFO, or something else?

I love people who want to dismiss all such things as bunk. It is because they wish to display some sort of intellectual superiority. Based on my experience, I'd take this stuff a little more seriously.

If you saw an 'alien' craft at close quarters, I'm damn sure you would know it wasn't the weather, a star, a lighthouse or some other nonsense.

I have a relative who was operational on several USAF bases in Suffolk during the time of the Rendelsham Forest ‘incident’ who has no doubt of its authenticity. Indeed there is apparent evidence that the area of the ‘sighting’ remains radioactive. Spooky or what!
You can face anything if you are true to yourself. |
