I saw a prediction table this morning, before the match, which predicted us to finish the season 12th on 41 points.

Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

Given our form at the moment a finish as high as 7th is not out of the realm of possibility. Certainly the top 10 is in our grasp. Given the rotten start it is absolutely astounding we are in the position we are right now and it is down to the management of Roy Hodgson. Palace seem to have done very well by two former managers of England who left under an unjustified cloud.
Divorced...And LOVING it! |

12th is an outstanding achievement considering our rotten start, push comes soon to shove, take it all day.And we will be around it., I’m thinking our beloved Brighton will go. Anyone clocked their run in. Frightening.

Think we should be shooting for higher. Given our current form I see no reason why we shouldn't finish top 10, even better our best Prem finish of 10th in 2014/15 and beat our best Prem points tally of 48 in the same season. The way I see things we are now in the little group of 3 (Everton, Leicester and us) after the big 6 (Man C, Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs). There maybe an argument that West Ham make the little group of 3 into a 4 - but being where I come from I wouldn't acknowledge that..!! But we are definitely better than the other 10..!! Southampton have dropped alarmingly out of our little group - and lessons to be learned there - if you stop investing and sell your best players you quickly drop into relegation candidates. Roy has done a brilliant job at least on a par with anything Pullis or Alardyce did - IMO opinion he has already surpassed them both. I hold my hands up after 6 games no points, no goals I couldn't see where a point was coming from let alone 25 and 12th place come mid January. My biggest concern is that Parish and the board will see this as job done and not invest appropriately in the January window. As I said you need to look no further than Southampton to see what that brings. Three decent signings in January and we have a shot at our best ever finish and points tally in the Prem as I said in another thread I'd go/hoping for; Białkowski Come on Parish grasp the moment and opportunity whilst we are riding the wave..!! Wise words Plaistow. The squad is very damaged so some transfers in would be very wise, regardless of job done or not done. Let’s hope there’s some money in the coffers!

It would be unwise to think we wouldn't need reinforcements in this window.
