I have been told that the above mentioned d***head was slagging off Steve Parish yesterday, did anyone hear why? I can only assume for SP speaking about an agenda against WZ. All parts of the media seem to have a downer on us at the moment, probably for one of the following: They don't want to see RH do well after England We ruffled Man City's feathers and stopped the darlings from scoring. As for Chris Sutton what is his actual problem with us/Wilf?

Durhams job is to create conversation, it would be a boring show if he said everything is wonderful.

As for Chris Sutton what is his actual problem with us/Wilf? Not sure it’s any of the above reasons. We’re not liked by the press and never have been. People used to say there are lots of West Ham and Millwall connections at fleet street, who knows. Remember the ‘Andy PENdy’ headlines which put a stop to AJ winning any more penalties? If the press can find a way to hurt us they will. The Sun calling Puncheon’s injury ‘Karma’ just sums up the c*nts up. Having said all that. I don’t listen to talkSPORT but this Durham is clearly a professional troll and might not be so bad if our fans didn’t bite.

Yes, but anybody can create conversation by just stating the ridiculous and stupid which he does every day. His job is actually to present creative radio, he fails at this every day. People only listen to hear what dickish thing he is going to say. Nothing creative about that.

I assume we're talking about TalkSh!te. Usually they treat us as if we don't exist at all. They will discuss each of the weekend prem matches in turn and miss ours out. They will review each of the clubs in a given group and miss us out. They can even talk for some minutes about a match we played in and not mention Palace. It's so obvious it's embarrassing.

The man comes out with ridiculous statements about anything to start a phone in. He is the Joey Barton of radio. I enjoy Hawksby and Jacobs as they have sensible discussions about sport with good guests. They also do a lot of gentle humour

That's a huge chip on both shoulders you have there. Why would the media in general care if Wilf chose IC over England or why would want Roy to fail and from what I've seen most media were quite pleased that we broke Manchester City's long winning run. I don't listen to Talksport so don't know why the shockjock there was slagging off Steve Parish or even if he was but I'm sure that it was for none of the reasons that you have stated

Adrian Durham is usually so positive about Palace, unusual to hear that he has a downer on Steve Parish. I remember him ranting about the number of penalties Palace got one season, only for Peterborough to get just as many the following season.
It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses. |

I was listening at the time and Durham went into one about SP tweeting Jack Wilshere dived in the Arsenal v Chelsea game. It went something like this: "The FA should charge Parish. Here we have the Chairman of a PL club, like we care, calling out a player for diving. "On his watch he splashed £2m up the wall on F de B and sacked him after 4 PL games. "Try to get your job right Parish. An incredible lack of well-awareness there."

For some reason Durham has a real downer on us. I remember him being really p****d off when we signed Dwight, (from his club Peterborough) and even more so when we sold him, making a profit of c£4m!! He also referred to us as 'a joke club' among many other things, when de Boer was sacked - I'm still waiting for him to retract that after Roy's latest miraculous performance, but I guess I shouldn't hold my breath. The comments about that particular station being anti-Palace are spot on - on Wednesday, on the Jim White show but without JW, the 3 of them went carefully through all the games that had been played the previous evening, got bogged down on some ludicrous discussion on the worst weather they'd ever watched football being played in - and completely ignored our fantastic performance at St Mary's. Having said all this - I really enjoy the reinvented Simon Jordan when he's on. There's always some Palace references and he's still clearly a big fan even though he can scarcely disguise his feelings towards SP. Read his book (Be Careful What You wish For) and you'll understand why!

No idea who he is, and I certainly don’t care.
Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes) |

Almost everyone referred to us as a joke club when we got rid of FdB so quickly, probably with some justification but why should he retract his comments in view of our rise up the table as we were still a joke for hiring someone so unsuitable for our style of play then sacking him so quickly
