We could obviously do with winning, but another draw I think!!

1-1 I won’t predict a scorer because I haven’t got a scooby what the team will be now!!

Only two days to recover and Southampton will have had three. Last year we played badly at Swansea in similar circumstances. On our performances against the Arse and Citeh we should be good for at least a point. But the team needs to match the energy levels of today and that will be hard - and probably more so if they reckon we lost two points rather than gained one today.

The right place at the right time

Depends which of our teams turns up.
Best - we could win by two. Worst we could loose by two.
Would hope for a point at least.

Roy reckons a few who missed out today will be back. Didn't specify who though. Seemed to suggest that they had injuries, RLC, Schlupp, Sako and JMac. Soton did similar against ManUre with a few changes which may of been enforced or deliberate. Think it will be a draw, 1-1.

Please Please Palace! Please turn it on against SFC! I'm taking my daughter and granddaughter who both live in Southampton, and this win may seal it for them to become lifelong Eagles! My daughter loved the atmosphere in our end so much , she's convinced grandaughter to come, but we just need to pick it all up again! Hopefully their bus got stuck on the M6, so 2-0 us.

Some interesting selection questions then - difficult to drop van Aanholt, Riedewald and Fosu-Mensah, who have all had question marks over them in the past but definitely did the business today. Maybe some of the above aren't fully fit.

Hennessey
Fosu-Mensah Tomkins Kelly van Aanholt
Cabaye Milivojevic Schlupp or rest one of these 3 for Riedewald
Zaha Benteke Townsend

Wouldn't start Loftus-Cheek.

Hoping for a win although I think it could be a draw what are the possibilities of us being in white for the game or will it clash to much with soton home strip ?

Don’t think we can underestimate the herculean effort put in by the lads yesterday and with only 2 days rest. Muscle soreness usually develops on day 2! Did anyone notice how hard Cabaye was blowing before he came off? He was literally dead on his feet. Townsend too. I think this will be a tough game. Take a draw wouldn we?
