Bit of a mixed bag. None of our close rivals won and Swansea got tonked. Brighton, Bournemouth and Newcastle losing is good for us as it keeps the bottom half nice and close. Downsides are the draws for West Ham and West Brom, the latter of which keeps us in the relegation zone on GD (Liverpool had a goal -rightly but annoyingly - ruled out late on in the West Brom game). Still, we did our job!

Never rely on other teams, they always let u down. We’ve got to do the business ourselves!

The main thing is we keep dragging the teams above us back down. They all thought they were safe after 8 games now look at them. Dire Straits. The relegation battle will be madness this year. Ourselves and West Ham have gained momentum and the like of Brighton Stoke Newcastle Bournemouth Huddersfield WestBrom are in trouble. It will be interesting to see the bottom 3 at xmas, because we wont be in it.

There are no big clubs other than City anymore. Massive let down from them, useless idiots. Arsenal and Liverpool will be mid-table sides by 2020 without either significant investment or a proper strategy like Spurs. With West Ham in the middle of their toughest run, taking 4 points from Chelsea and Arsenal is more than just 4 points, it's a big problem for Palace. Pardew hasn't really done much with West Brom yet. Hoping he gets tonked soon and loses the defensive discipline. Annoyed with tonight as it looked like we could only finish above Swansea, West Ham and West Brom. The silver lining being it now looks like Newcastle and Brighton are real possibilities and we can survive alongside West Ham and West Brom. I was so confident of the Hammers going down as well with Moyes in charge. They had no where near a packed stadium tonight for Arsenal when they've dipped into the relegation zone - disgusting.

There's a whole lot of s*** falling out of the sky around us; Southampton got tanked at home by Leicester (but we've got them away next); Toon, Bournemouth, Seaweed all lost and Swansea look like a basket case. Stoke are in free fall. Oh, and Huddersfield have turned to s***e as well now. Gained 2 points on Wet Spam and West Brom and 3 points on everybody else. Not bad considering we looked dead and buried with ten minutes left last night. Won't get away with a performance like that on Saturday though. In other news, we have Arsenal soon and they looked terrible for all the possession and territory they had. Did absolutely f*** all with it. 70% possession, 22 shots, only 3 on target and only one real save forced from the keeper. Terribly narrow, ponderous and lacking in invention. Their defenders were highly susceptible to Arnautovic doing Wilf stuff so defend decently and give them the real Wilf out wide to think about and we could turn them over. West Ham are not a concern to us as they wont be going down at the end of the day. The main thing is the the likes of Brighton and Huddersfield fall apart, it was always going to happen. Its a long season.

WBA 0-0 was the most annoying. Maybe that's because it's (at least) what we deserved at Anfield.
Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes) |

It's Liverpool at home as well with them just throwing away the derby. Perform for your 'world class fans' for God's sake you German moron. "I speak with an accent and have long wavy hair, tell my entire team including goal keeper to run forward so everyone loves me la la la." Any other Manager in this Liverpool position would have massive question marks over his head. World class my backside. Just likes gifting points to Palace's rivals. Arsenal as well another let down. Bet they turn it on against us and look like Barcelona. Desperate for top 4 but Lacazette and a whole host of other first teamers on the bench tonight against West Ham away. Disgrace.
