Top scorer now 4 goals, 3 more than Benteke, loftus-cheek and Townsend combined, always looks like he has a goal in him, surely starts against Leicester.
“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn |

In general, Cabaye and Luka are better players to have in central midfield. I'd be tempted to put him behind Benteke and drop RLC, maybe (it's more likely Andros would be dropped, but we want a CM option from the bench).

We are quite lucky to have JM. Maybe not automatic starter but reliable. Good at protecting the ball and keeping possession, has a decent pass and importantly confident in taking goal opportunites.

Best box to box midfielder we have and the eye for a goal makes him our Lampard, (although not quite as prolific). He needs to play against Leicester. As someone has already posted, either Andros or RLC should make way initially, probably coming on as impact player(s).

Pardew commented that McArthur was the most conscientious footballers you can get and that he lived and breathed the game.

Watch when the game stops for a minute or so and he will always be the first or only player to go round talking to others whilst most of our 'leaders' stand there, hands on hips and the opposition are all communicating. Players should know by 10 that too long with hands on hips is time wasted.

He really has an eye for goal, which is pretty valuable for a team like us. Didnt agree with Pardew playing him in the hole though. If he could match Luka and Cabaye in other areas he would be starting, alas.....
Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha. |

Rangers don't have the money to better or even match what we pay him so I would reckon he would extend his contract for the same terms
