Rolando Aarons (22) is obviously out in the cold as far as manager Benitez is concerned. Have bags of potential and a few PL games under his belt. Would not mind him joining us come January.

I recall a conversation I had with someone about Aarons probably 2 or 3 years ago.

Whilst we recognised he had pace and was a 'Direct' player who ran with the ball at pace and could beat defenders, his crossing and decision-making was in need of improvement but he was only very young and a work-in-progress.

In my humble estimation at present we don't need Aarons.

one more at least, who do we have on the left if zaha gets injured? Andros? nope, he has uttered on many occasions he's right side only, but even if roy pushes him there, who then on the right?

good quality back up is required at this level.

Southampton and the like have players of the ilk of Shane Long on the bench. Until we can have that quality on our bench we'll always be in relegation battles.

We've got enough whingers of our own on HOL without importing them from the north-east. Eh? Oh!

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

With our limited resources there are far more important positions to fill than wingers. We have Sako and Kaikai as backups so that position should come well down the list

Think he scored against us on Wilfs second debut with a header if I remember correctly. Haven’t seen much of him since. I think he got games in the promotion season but hasn’t kicked on.

Yeah like him. Would be good to have another option, albeit not priority.

He would be a risk as he has had a period of injury. He played against us first game Wilf was back and he looked better than Wilf (in that game). He has talent but for some reason has not progressed. It may be his injuries, lack of game time or attitude howver if the price is good he is worth a punt. Neither of our backup wingers look EPL standard so is it time to sell KaiKai and Sako and look elsewhere? As someone else said not a priority but he could be a useful addition
