A shame not to challenge their defence more but really ours was decent, Hennesey more assured and Tomkins another good performance. I think both sets of players were probably promised desparate consequences if they lost that so not many opportunities for attackers. And both were thin on the ground it being a Tuesday night.

Don't think we should be fannying about with Wilf in the middle and Loftus-Cheek out in space. Should be the other way round. I can't see how it would be a more defensive posture either.

Delighted we got a point against the dolphins (w***ERS) can't wait for the home game against them . Not much atmosphere at the Amex, we'll have to show them what home support sounds like .

oh yeah ,fcuk off brighton.

Clean sheet and first point tonight. Now let’s get a goal and bag 3 points against Pardew on Saturday

Bit of a dampener is that we have now gone 826 minutes ,and counting, since scoring an away goal

Previous worst in Premier was ended at 584 minutes back in August 1994 by Gareth Soouthgate

I did not realise that the keeper is also responsible for scoring goals. Even when we keep a clean sheet we criticise the keeper? Last night our defence looked solid and our attack was limited I think due to the tactics of Roy. Clearly he is trying to get the balance right.

I think orpingtoneagle was being ironic in criticising the goalie.

I admire the optimism on here, but 1 point and no goals in 3 games against the promoted teams tells its own story.
