IT'S TIME It's taken quite a while for our little friends to catch up, but tonight's the night. TEAMS: Palace: Hennessey, Ward, Tomkins, Sakho, Schlupp, Townsend, Loftus-Cheek, Milivojevc, Cabaye, Zaha, Benteke. Subs: Speroni, Van Aanholt, Dann, McArthur, Fosu-Mensah, Sako, Puncheon. Player for player, exactly the team I would have picked. Tomkins has more experience in derbys than Dann and has the nasty streak required.

If I had a quibble, it's Schlupp instead of PvA at left wing-back. Their man Gross (can't do the fancy German character from here) is a danger getting forward and slings in a ton of crosses. Meanwhile, preventing crossing opportunities is not a feature of Schlupp's game. However, the thinking could be that we keep Gross busy chasing Schlupp and Zaha all night, which is a good plan if it comes off. Gross can look world class but can also drift out of games. Mama vs. Murray is going to be a tussle! "We've been waiting for you" is their cry. Umm, no! We've been waiting for you! Bring. It. On.

My god they should do the job, if they play to 100% job done 1-3 Palace. Strongest side I have seen for a long time (on paper)

And I thought Schlupp has done alright in our last couple of games.

Our 11 vs their 11, we should win handsdown. However, you never know what the mindset will be like tonight. With that said, I'm so much more comfortable with Roy in charge for a game like this with all his experience and his "one at a time" game mentality, experience breeds confidence, I think we've got this. First 15 minutes if we keep it tight, Brighton will have to press forward and this is where we are best
