ROY: 'It's important as a manager that you don't add to the hype, because you need players to play with their head and their heart. If you put too much emphasis on the heart, maybe you don't have the head.'
Love it!! COME ON PALACE. COME. ON.
If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities. |

All the emphasis on Zaha as boo boy. Weed fans on his back; 2/3 defenders crowd him. Meanwhile, RLC sneaks in through the big hole left and clobbers the winner in the 92nd minute. Bottle of cheap fizz cooling in fridge saved for the weekend. If we win, I suspect it won't last till then.

Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

Zaha is an emotional player and unlike others who pay lip service I think this game will actually mean a lot to him. He's a local lad and I'm pretty sure his local mates will be expecting him to step up. On a personal level he will also probably want to give it large to BHA fans due to their dislike of him and the history involved. He doesn't seem like a player that puts these things aside. Hopefully Brighton aren't too cynical and try to play football rather than do an Everton/Huddersfield and just kick him Although he may not feel the rivalry, Cabaye seems to enjoy the pantomime at times and is always the player who walks the line for us so I wouldn't be surprised to see him get involved in any argy bargy. The rest of the team I think will continue to play the way they have since Roy came in, which is professional and (in the main) assured.

"Oh yes he does" Actually, being Brighton, perhaps more appropriate would be "He's behind you!!!!"

The hatred from them for Zaha, before tonight's game, has gone way beyond football rivalry to extremely sick quite frankly. They're talking about revenge for Gerry Ryan’s leg being broken by Henry Hughton (which is ironic bearing in mind who his brother is). That was over 30 years ago. Apparently Ryan is a spectator tonight.

I think Cabayes tweet on saturday was class " good win today,on to tuesday we won't let you don"...yohan knows.
