MoTD is carefully managed to avoid embarrassing referees whose performances frankly deserve it.

Originally posted by chateauferret was really hoping they would highlight his lack of performance; feel that is is all a conspiracy for the “top clubs” Henry gets a job on sky after the worst ever cheating handball etc etc, us little clubs get marginalised and lower down the order.
Ref at the arse game was not good either, bet he gets highlighted as it’s a “big game” MoTD is carefully managed to avoid embarrassing referees whose performances frankly deserve it.

Well maybe. But why on Earth wasn’t Kompany sent off? Dreadful refereeing decision and clear big club bias IMO What do you think Willo?

Another poor decision in London derby. Arsenal first goal never a free kick and looked slightly offside. Not a good day for the refs !!! Clearly they can not keep up with the speed of the modern game and time to give them video help!!

Originally posted by Mstrobez how Jules gets any blame for that is beyond understanding. Dann made the error.

Having watched MOTD; ref’s today has a poor day in general. It really is time for video help. Seems the only way will be to challenge the FA/UEFA/FIFA in court and go for damages if your team suffers a clear negative result. If nothing happens “we” the small clubs/countries will keep getting stuffed

Coming up to half-time 2-1 ahead, just launch the ball into the far corner instead of trying to imitate Man C. At the end of the day, Dann is an old-style defender and not someone comfortable with the ball at his feet.He has been found wanting at PL level.

The ball could have been kept upfield (where it was) while there were were less than two minutes to play. In my view, the whole team should have done better.
