Hint: if you're standing the wrong side of the player and the attacking team doesn't appeal, it's not a penalty. What a f***ing muppet. Outrageous.

Very unlucky tonight. What a dreadful penalty decision along with only awarding a yellow card for the tackle on Stuart Dallas.

I bet they now fine the Northern Ireland FA because their manager said it was bollocks. He was being charitable.

Let's not take anything away from Switzerland who thoroughly deserved to win on the night. And that Denis Zakaria and Akanji were young players of some quality.

And let’s not forget that the lad who was yellow-carded for his heinous transgression of the handball law will now miss the 2nd leg as a consequence. What a farce!

Both Iain Dowie and Gerry Taggart were not impressed ! Even Mrs YT was not impressed when she saw it on BBC Breakfast this morning, and she doesn’t really follow the noble game. I tried to explain that Palace fans are well used to such harsh treatment from referees, particularly when playing away to the ‘big clubs’. I think she’d switched off by then (metaphorically - the telly was still on). Edited by YT (10 Nov 2017 9.59am)

VAR is going to be used tonight in the England v Germany game. It has been trialled in Germany but their fans are not enamoured with it because of the delays, complaining that it has ruined the flow of the game.
