It occurred to me that the progress Roy may or may not be making is comparable to Sam. When Sam joined the games were: Draw Roy has been: Lose So I take from that we should not panic It takes a while to restructure a team into a new way of operating

I don’t think Huddersfield in the Cup should count as a win in Roy’s stats unfortunately. However, based on this, they’ve both lost 4 out of first 5. Roy needs a win in his next game.

I think Roy is doing a good job and the team now looks like it knows what it's doing. But Sam wouldn't have turned things round if we hadn't had a striker, and there will be many more days like today while we're still in that predicament.

De Boer would still be our Manager had Wilf not been injured.

Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

its really hard to compare the two managers starts tho really isnt it. sam came into a job where the team had no problems scoring, defending was the issue. roy came into a job where the team had problems scoring & defending. sam got £40m quid to spend & sakho on loan soon after arriving, roys working with what the total football experiment left behind. sam came into a run of very winnable fixtures, whereas roy didnt. i think weve started to see the green shoots of recovery quicker under roy, even tho his job on paper seemed to be a lot harder initially.
