Wilf was quiet. We missed the only chances we had. They scored from the rebound of a headed clearance that just happened to hit the head of a bloke running in. That's about the sum of the game really.

Newcastle sat deep and scored with their only clear cut chance. We played ok in parts but looked like a team without a striker. Terrible, terrible game.

We played a really s*** Newcastle side.

Like others have said. We are playing better... but we look like what we are.. A team with no strikers.

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

Midfielders weren't moving up with the attack like last week and that left Zaha and Townsend on their own with feck all support.Subs should have come a lot earlier and Schlupp needs to be replaced next week with RLC.

Sounds like what I had already heard.

I had a horrible feeling we just wouldn't have the same energy as last week, which can help the fact we have no striker - having numbers around the ball. Baffles me why only for one game though, very Crystal Palace-y I suppose but nonetheless always infuriating.

Let's hope for some better news next 7 days.
