That last ditch tackle was amazing. Thought he was exceptional today.

Have to say I've been critical of him, but he was superb. I think if was 2 brilliant last ditch tackles he made. There wax a number of players who played out of their skins today, Cabaye was another one. ...

Thought he did really well second half. Still a couple of things broke down on his side in the first half, but when we were under the kosch he really stepped up today.

I've been one of his biggest critics but he was superb today... As was the whole team.. not one player played badly today. Ward deserves to start the next game on that performance today.
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

Back to his best, I've been very critical of him too but what he lacks in pace he made up for with incisive tackles and well timed blocks. Hope this wasn't a flash in that pan and that he can recreate that display next game.

Brilliant performance today, if we can keep it going who knows? Do you think Wilf looked like the answer up front or was it just a one off???

He benefited from us being so up for it and getting the first tackle, interception, one on one battle won. They didn't. That's how the confidence grew and grew. We got the 2nd before they had a chance to regroup and try to salvage something although we did we have a few floor crosses not quite to our man early in the 2nd half.
