I don't ever claim to be 'In the know' or anything like that but have just got off the phone to my cousin who lives in Glasgow. He works at Rangers Football Club in a fairly high up position. So anyway he tells me that MacArthur to Rangers will be a done deal in January. Jimmy Mac is out of contract next summer and is a huge lifelong Rangers fan who has never his his desire to play for Rangers one day. At first I laughed... but then thinking about the above it does actually make sense. To the extent where I found an interview with MacArthur from 2015 where he said how much he loved being at Palace but one day it would be his dream to play for Rangers. So what do we think? Possible and would you want him sold?
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

He'd probably be taking a big pay cut from a championship wage when he could probably get one more contract in England before Rangers.

My mate in work is a Rangers season ticket holder, he's also heard strong rumours about this as well.

Would be gutted to sell.

Fantastic player and one I would be gutted to see leave. Probably our best if not one of our best signings since coming up. It's a shame that the Cabaye signing didn't work in his favour. It's diminished his game time and role at the club. We were on song when Jimmy's name was one of the first on the team sheet.

Quality player, real all rounder. Reminds me of Hughsy. He's the sort of player we need to keep but if he's a lifelong Rangers fan and wants to go you can't blame him.

I would sooner sell them Puncheon. They should also probably go in for Snodgrass. Then the Rangers fans could sing him that "Follow, follow" song they like. As in "Follow-ver oan the grun an see'f th'auld bastart'll gie yous a peanul'y".
