Thought he looked ok, for the few minutes he was on, considering the venue/quality of opposition etc. Some nice interplay and won some headers against defenders that are top of the Prem. May not be the real deal (yet), but surely worth persevering with, as opposed to some of the 'old names' currently being mentioned as short term stop gaps (Cole/Lambert etc)?

Thoughts?

Well who knows? Maybe Woy simply felt it was too much of a physical ask for a lad who was playing non league less than 2 years ago? I'm not (too) despondent - yet! Wilf will be back for Chels, + Fosu Mansah at RB, + hopefully Dann to partner Mamadou. If Ladapo can work well with the first team during these 2 weeks, anything is possible. Cometh the moment, cometh the man!

He will probably get a few games this season. I hope he does well.

It's a big ask expecting the lad to be the answer to our striker problem. Occasionally a youngster can step up the mark with little experience of top level football behind them, but it is rare.

It would put enormous pressure on him if he was actually asked to start games. A case of sink or swim.

But this is part of the problem - not giving the younger players a chance until we have little or no other option. And, are we not giving them a chance because in all honesty they are not considered to be up to it?

I expect Cambridge don't have the same quality as Premier teams.

Strikers are strikers at the end of the day, they generally know where the goal is. I cannot understand why we can't give Ladapo or Anderson a chance. Yes i understand the lack of experience but surely it's got to be better than playing a midfielder up top. Give the lads a chance I say. Worst ways we still don't score! Anything other than that they turn into a goal machine!!!

Ladapo any given match for me. Looked positive, moved his legs and some nice flick-ons after making his debut at Old Trafford. Don't waste time & money on old donkeys like Cole, Lambert etc....play Freddie from start till (at least) Tekkers is back...

I'd like to see him given a chance. I didn't see the match on Saturday but the reviews I've seen of his performance seem pretty positive.

Please let him and the other two "Ls" onto the pitch to impress.

I see that a Spurs player who is breaking into their first team has been called up for the England squad. Youth needs to be given its chance.
