Parish clearly cares you can tell that by the current haunted look on his face.

What we don't want to do is hound him out of the club and replace him with some faceless hedge fund manager who will asset strip the club. Look at Coventry City for example! Why do people dredge up the most extreme examples to support their case. If we want to better ourselves (as Parish said we should) the example of Charlton is always dredged up and if we want to spend more than tuppence ha'penny we will go into Administration. Coventry City may well have suffered at the hands of their supposed hedge fund owners but you could have used Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea as examples of clubs that have prospered under wealthy corporate or corporate style owners. Why did Parish sell his soul to a pair of American Billionaires? Was it because they would allow him to continue to play top dog? Parish and his original partners have always said that they were reluctant buyers as no-one else was interested and they would sell to the right person. In all these years has the right person never appeared which I find hard to believe or is that any proposed buyer that has surfaced so far doesn't want Parish involved in the future?

The last club to have a real fan as an owner was Blackburn and they went onto win the Premier thanks to his money. That wont happen again, due to the huge amounts of money involved 20 years on. Once Jack Walker died and was sold they have plummeted to League 1.

Using Man Utd, City and Chelsea are stupid comparisons we are never going to be able to compete with them. No more stupid than using Coventry as an example of what happens when corporates buy a club

The lack of stadium development bugs me the most. 5th year in the prem and apart for some cladding and a lick of paint the stadium is still a substandard arena. When the Americans were onboarded the funds were to be invested in this area. Now looks likely we will get relegated and be in exactly the same position before promotion.
