This latest poll of the Tory membership turned up the following result. Johnson is the clear preference, but with rather surprising Davidson being second ahead of Mogg in third.

Cameron's favourite and remainer Rudd is cut adrift.

The one important thing she hasn't got is charisma though.

She's intelligent though....cabinet worthy and should be in line for the big jobs.

Haven't really seen her with any desire on show to take the top job
Maybe she's holding back a little
It will only be proved whether she has any real charisma if she gets into a leadership race.
Some politicians are great actors
Look at JC !!!!

If he's playing the role of an odious little cretin he's certainly up there with the best.

The Tories have always been quite liberal with this kind of thing for a while now....probably because conservatives tend to be on the private side and so don't make a big deal out of what their sexuality is....If it isn't shoved down their necks So to speak.....they aren't as bad as portrayed.

If she was strutting about in rainbow colours you'd get a different reaction. But they like convention publicly....what you do privately is your business.

Firstly there is no vacancy at the present time and the focus is very much on the complex Brexit negotiations.

I have been a member of the Conservative Party for many a year and campaign during elections both local and national and attend social events.

I have met Boris on a few occasions and he is an erudite luminary who is engaging company, however I am yet to be convinced of his leadership credentials in respect of the Conservative party and the country.

Perhaps in the fulness of time I might take a different viewpoint.Time will tell how events will unfold.
