Just a thought...Vardy isn't the most cultured player, often looks a bit non league but he is a handful and makes things happen......and scores goals ! !

Ladapo is raw , but I think could also be a handful up top...given a chance who knows....does he just need the chance like Vardy ?

He is the only fit striker left so if he does not play then the management do not rate him .

His failure to score goals in League One suggests not. He's not been sufficiently rated by any of our managers to be given a league game, but as I said on another thread, if he can't get in a side with no other striker, he never will.

Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing!

As I've said before on here, saw both Vardy & Ladapo play at non-league level & if you'd asked me which would make it I would not have said Vardy. It's weird how some of them make it and others don't but guess it depends on what suits them as players.

I think it was only about two years between Smalling struggling to hold a place in the Maidstone team to him playing for Manure in the Champions League.

We could do worse than give the lad a chance.

Will this be five? It's gonna be five! It IS five!

To be fair the only time he has featured is in makeshift sides. Hes never had the chance to be flanked by Wilf and Townsend and be supported by RLC. Give him a chance

Palace gave a trial to a young centre forward several seasons ago, who had a successful brother, scoring great goals regularly. This boy did the rounds on loan, several a season. He had something, but nobody had the time to really try him out.
After Palace he joined Millwall. After two seasons as their, and their divisions leading scorer he went to Wimbledon in the old first and even had games for England. John Fashanu.
Ian Wright, another sort off rated trialist. Bright not considered good enough for Leicester, but behind the Lineaker boy. Glen, washed up and injured at Brighton. The list of these kinds of players in those situations is endless. Who knows, there must be something about Lapadu as he hasn't been got rid of, close of season, even at 28.
Anyway, so he doesnt score, big deal, who else has?

I think he is only 24 years old....maybe his movement and mobility is what we've been lacking ...not to mention Wilf !

He could be the surprise package of the season...but needs someone to take a gamble on him and give him a bit of time ...

Absolutely not. He's shown no signs anywhere he could be.
