Well that settles it, the biggest footballing genius at the club by a country mile is on my side of the argument. Anyone who believes he should've gone - your argument has now been made redundant or I would seriously question your support Edited by Mstrobez (21 Sep 2017 11.24pm)

I was amazed he didn't get the Southampton game after the improved Burnley performance, but it's clear that the decision had been made weeks previously. Onwards we go - the sooner the footballing world forgets we sacked a manager after 4 league games, the better

Therefore, why don't you change the title of the thread to contain what Zaha actually quoted?

Listen to the recording at the top of the page - can understand why the reporter and others would have it as slightly but in the context Wilf was speaking it was slyly. It's a common phrase of the youth even if it makes little sense. Our Wilf isn't the most eloquent in interviews it must be said. The questioning support bit was a joke by the way, relax! It doesn't twist what he says in the slightest, it's almost word for word what he says. He said it in an interview I've just listened to so I decided to relay that to a Palace forum with a bit of a joke at the end. I'm fairly certain Palace would've been interested to hear/read it. What are you, my Dad?
