I apologise for 'yet another thread' but this seemed simpler than responding the same way on all the others. What's done is done. Here we are, unable to change anything that has passed with the majority of a new season in front of us, an improved team, new manager and light at the end of the tunnel. Ok, that light might be an oncoming train but we don't know that yet! The one thing we can change is the mood amongst fans. Forget what has gone on, get behind the club, the team & the manager & do what we've always done best - prove everyone wrong. Now, more than any time in the last 7 years, we need to show a solidarity & togetherness like we did against Arsenal just a few months ago. The players respond to it, the crowd responds to it & the opposition don't like it. I know it's been a proper s***storm but we need to remember days (and messages) like this.... COYP Edited by Nobbybm (15 Sep 2017 8.18am) I wholeheartedly concur with these sentiments, indeed I posted something similar last night. Plenty of games to go and we have every chance of avoiding relegation. Lets look forward with optimism difficult as it is to do so at the present time.

We absolutely CANNOT boo if we are playing poorly or even losing at half time. FDB only got 2 games before fans turned and I think that was a hangover from the Pardew frustrations but we have to give Roy a bit of time now. We may even have to accept being in relegation zone until January when he can delve into the transfer market. Obviously there's a massive difference between being 20th and cut adrift in relegation zone and 18th, 3 points off safety. Being well clear of relegation by January would be the absolute best Roy could do and possibly out of his range.

Absolutely agree ... PMA from every fan (Positive Mental Attitude) will help the players and Croydon Roy to get us out of this mess. Plenty of time to get back on track.

Being well clear of relegation by January would be the absolute best Roy could do and possibly out of his range. More to do with what clearly couldn't work with our players. Ward at RWB for example. The best Frank could've got was 11 players capable of 3 at the back as long as mensah was at RWB and not somewhere else and Sakho at CB. But then LWB was an issue among others. But I agree the booing has to stop unless we want to go down. I do get the feeling a lot of the booing comes from people who've made a commitment to us as a top division club and don't want to contemplate 2nd tier football after their commitment or don't want their ST payment wasted. Come on lads. And sing up ffs.

CPFC - where managers come to die. I've been thinking about this phrase for around 5 minutes, and it has a nice ring to it

Chips and gravy can be eaten in the car. Nigel Martyn used to eat Pasty and chips in the car in kenley with his wife after away games. What a charmer. Bet he's not broke though.
