I'd like to see Luka back in there somehow, and something similar to the weekend, with Punch out, and Zaha/RLC to return and Sakho in when fit.

He's played 4-4-2 and variations of it in the past which I don't think will suit our fast attacking midfielders. But he's also played 4-3-3. With a fully fit team I think we could see a bit of a variation on 4-3-3: Hennessey Fosu-Mensah, Dann, Sakho, PvA/Schlupp Milo RLC McArthur (it's wishful thinking on my part that Punch is dropped) Zaha Townsend Benteke

Id like to see him go 4-2-3-1 with Luka restored to his normal position alongside Cabaye with RLC pushed forward between Wilf and Andros.TFM at RB. Wardys not quite up to it these days, hes been a terrific player for us over the years but his lack of pace is catching him out now

I've just written down four different possibilities for 4 - 3 - 2 - 1 and didn't use the word "Puncheon" once. Bet he will though.

Roy will start Puncheon purely because he won't have any idea how average he has been. He'll probably score to goals now to cement his place in the team all season.

He didn't pick him for England when he was flying for us a few seasons ago.....I love Punch but I do think he needs sometime out.

Oh god I hope we haven't employed another manager that hasn't done any homework. But I do think you are right, he'll see "club captain" next to Puncheon's name on a bit of paper and he'll write it on his team sheet before any other name.

Puncheon could be a good player. I've always thought he was at his best when he has a point to prove (e.g.: laughing stock for missing that penalty, being on the subs bench in the FA Cup Final etc). At the moment he's just an automatic selection and he's playing like dog sh*t.
