I mean if FdB and Parish have fallen out - it would make sense....

Benitez wouldn't come here as it would be out of the frying pan into the fire

Well at least it would be a nice warm log fire instead of a broken 2kW bar heater.

He'd demand big money in January and again next summer, which I don't think would be forthcoming.

I'm not sure he would. He'd want control of the budget. if he saves £200k a week of the wage bill he'd want that. I honestly dont think Parish would double cross a manager like Ashley apparently has. The main issue with my wishful thinking is that his buy-out clause is extortionate.

Cheque book manager. Did you see how much he spent last season to get them back up based on what Brighton & Huddersfield spent?!

rafa prefers jobs nearest to Liverpool due to his children attending there.

on other hand, hes also pissed that Newcastle don't really spend, we do, ok our way of buying aint too planned out, but we do spend.

that could swing it.

saying all that, I don't foresee parish paying frank off then another manager, either frank will have to walk or we'd get someone out of contract.

Oddly enough the train times between Liverpool and Newcastle are the same as from London to Newcastle.

Daft thread though.

Optimistic as ever

I would have thought his net spend was about zero or even a profit after accounting for the sales of Townsend, Sissoko and Wijnaldum

And London to Liverpool is even quicker.
