His biggest mistake is thinking that all the players in this Premier League (best league in the world) side are technically skilled enough to consistently pass the ball to their teammates and then move into space to get the ball back. He also assumed all the non-defenders know how to make runs to give the passer attacking options. Sakho saved our season last time around - without him, just how good was our record under Big Sam? This team is simply not good enough. The likes of Cabaye and Wilf, RLC in 2 games and in fairness Townsend (on effort alone) shine so brightly is because they are in a sea of mediocrity. Parish is to blame after pardew balls up and escaping with big Sam. He thought to go for a manager with a possession based style. It also took him 6 weeks to appoint him. You can't make it up.

He didn't call the players cowards. Speaking in a language that is not his own he said they lacked courage. It's a different thing and I suspect the players - who he spoke to first - understood what he means.

We are in a very dark place. I'm at a loss to know what to suggest but I don't think we have the personnel in ANY department to sort this out. With modern football where it is maybe a sale to an organisation with very deep pockets would be the way.
