Why does it always take palace so long to sign a target ? How many times have decent players slipped through Steve's fingers because of all the dithering . Maybe things will speed up a bit with dougie.

Plenty of people seem to confuse "rumour" with "target". Oliver Burke was supposedly a "target" for weeks. De Boer told everyone at his presser this morning that he never was.

Frank: 'We are hopeful of getting players in before the deadline if not we will prepare the best we can and we have enough experience in the squad'.

Me next on that spliff, Frank. Hopefully just serenity above the surface and paddling like crazy beneath.

Got to assume everything rests on, and is pivotal to, Sakho and who we get offers for.

We are no different from any club,it is just that you and many others believe everything they read.
Just wait until they put the shirt on.
Three signed so far.

I think that was Frank throwing a bucket of ice water on expectations to take a bit of the heat off when the window closes. The translation is "there's six days to go and you should all prepare yourselves for a...bit of a disappointment".

Dithering Steve likes a good dither. Fact is its a lot of made up stuff in the press mixed in with some real attempts to sign players. We all know that we have one of the most dithering chairmen in the premier league. Other teams get "strongly linked" with players and sign them 2 days later, we never EVER do that. Despite all his years doing this he is still not in the top half of best chairmen in this league, sadly. He is the anti-Jordan, though, so we can blame past blunders perhaps from the cowboys like Jordy and Goldy. Dont assume that every time we are linked there is a shred of truth in it, but also be aware we have a major dithering anti_Jordan in charge.

Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha.

If we don’t beat Swansea tomorrow (which I’m not expecting), nobody will want to join us to be involved in a relegation battle. However the current squad should just about be good enough to stay up, as long as we don’t get any injur.......(oh, bvgger).

Are you referring to Oliver Burke whom Frank de Boer said today that we weren't really interested in or has someone else slipped through our fingers that we were genuinely interested in

Team Talk now claiming that he's on Inter's list of centre backs. Rumour only but he's that good he could easily fit into their team. Hopefully he'll be swayed by our warm and passionate fans rather than the racist Italian crowds.
