Parish is saying we need to sell to buy and hoping for 3 more players (very unlikely).

Why have we not got any money from American investors, Chinese sponsors and £100+ million TV dosh?

We have a thin squad with no PL quality goalie & one striker, and let alone needing PL quality in other positions, we have a manager whose footballing philosophy has produced one shot on target and no goals in 2 games and us plating up goals for opposing teams!

As many of you will know supporting Palace is not and has never been a choice for me, my season ticket is a given. So can someone offer me something in my despair that Parish may have just murdered our season and PL status other than blind and delusional optimism?

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

Wage bill is somewhere in the the region of £85mill+ probably (was £70mill in 2015 in the club's accounts).

Don't mind the important players earning loads but when people like Sako and Mutch are on £55k a week plus whatever the rest of the deadwood and Championship level players in our squad are too then you have your answer. No spare dosh. And the £50mill from the Yanks has gone very quiet because in all likelihood it has been spent too.

Best Chairman we ever had

He's about the third or fourth if truth be told.

Big question lol. He just answered above you plus we used most of our potential summer dosh in January. No other team did that. Not even the ones in the relegation mire. In January or next summer more so is when we can spend big again

They squandered it all on wine gums and baby G watches, is that what you want to hear?

basic maths answers the wheres the signings that is so easily thrown around...i have no inside knowledge & havnt seen published accounts but i would be amazed if the club was running in the black.

infact i bet our finances are worse than when in the champ, just much larger. as much as the guys quality, the cabaye signing smashed the strict wage ceiling and things have spiralled since then.

then when cabaye is on 80k a week club captain scott dann wants parity etc etc.

i wish people would stop moanig and open their eyes to reality

And just to add to my previous post by the time Mutch and Sako leave we will have spent around/wasted £20million on them in total. And that's just two players costs out of many who are surplus or just deadwood.

Was always obvious the money in the game would just end up going to the players and increasing wages and fees.

Defence yesterday was good with closing down and blocking but our hold up play was atrocious because Liverpool overun everything, missed the pace of zaha desperately to give them something different to think about, we shouldn't be in a situation where one player goes missing and our attack fails, same thing happened when Souare crashed himself out and killed Pardew.

As good a signing as Sakho would be there aren't exactly clubs lining up to take him off Liverpools hands so why pay over the odds? That transfer if it happens was never going to happen before the 31st! Again DeBoer answered well when asked about Sakho he was never going to say "I love the player I'm desperate to sign him, worth every penny!" 31/08/2017 yellow tie at the ready!

We have been badly organised since Pulis and that Arsenal game, this league is probably a little bit above us to survive in especially when we compare ourselves with Brighton who have a wonderful stadium and just players to worry about, when Murray comes to our ground and wins it for them I will fully understand how annoyed he must of been with the way we wasted money and time on attacking play while he sat on the bench, we waste far too much money for a club in our situation.
