Would we take a chance on the scuba diver.....? SNODGRASS SURPLUS TO REQUIREMENTS West Ham have told Robert Snodgrass that he is surplus to requirements and is available either for transfer or a loan, according to Sky sources. The Scottish international only signed for Slaven Bilic's side in January, but the winger has now been informed that the club won't stand in his way if he can find a move away from the London Stadium. The 29-year old scored 9 goals for Hull last season before his £7.5m switch to West Ham in January, but failed to find the net thereafter.

We've already got Christian 'Diver' Benteke so why the hell not! On a serious note though if we can get him for a relatively low price I think he would be a great addition to the squad and bring in goals from midfield.

As much as I hated him for that dive, I'd be happy to take him for a few million. He is good at set plays and that is something we need to address.

We have our two loans - buy for two million with add ons (something per goal; something for drawing fire - kicked round pitch like Wilf - (freeing the rest of the team to play football); something for coming on giving support to our younger players).

Being realistic with club spend and the chance to bring in expertise of Snodgrass' kind and the chance to be further nurtured under FdB, this seems like a no-brainer.
