Eine Ausleihe kommt laut RB-Sportdirektor Ralf Rangnick nicht infrage, allenfalls ein Verkauf des 15,2 Millionen Euro teuren Königstransfers 2016 von Nottingham Forest. Mehrere englische Vereine haben sich erkundigt, konkretes Interesse zeigt nun offenbar Crystal Palace. Da Rangnick jedoch Burke nicht mit Verlust verkaufen will, müssten die Eagles wohl tief in die Tasche greifen.

I don't know what Burke was thinking of going to Leipzig in the first place but there aren't many people who could stand in for Wilf without costing upwards of £50m.

I am afraid with Burke it is a little like when Wilf went to Man U. He needed regular first team games. If he can be bought in at right price he is a good prospect. I wonder if we may try to get Demarai Gray. I realise he may be around £20 million but he would give us real alternatives to Wilf and Andros so that they can be rested

I think injury to Wilf has closed that one unless we get an offer we can't refuse

Why would he join us just to be a reserve here
