Used to be the Old Stand (Main) in the days when it was never much more than half full. Reeked of nostalgia and old fashioned-ness, with the wooden floorboards and wooden seats. Haven't been in it for several years, not sure I'd enjoy it as much with the plastic seats, and capacity crowds, must be very cramped. Have been a season ticket holder in the Holmesdale Upper since it opened (1995), and whilst I haven't been bothered to go up into the Red and Blue bar for best part of a decade, I do like the Upper more than any other part of the ground that we have now. Decent legroom, can see most of the pitch even if people start to stand up (due the steep angle), clear view of the screen, in the shade on hot sunny days, rarely sun in your eyes (occasional winter sun excepted), pretty easy to get in and out, able to move about and have a piss at half time with minimum fuss, can hear all the HF songs clearly and join in with the louder stuff, does pretty much what you need it to do. Plus after the game is is nicely aligned to where I park so I can get away quite swiftly Edited by dorking (15 Aug 2017 8.01pm) Edited by dorking (15 Aug 2017 8.02pm)

Didn't get any requests but Stand and Deliver by Adam Ant was number one in the pop charts when I was born. It was good advice for my mother, the beds in May Day weren't particularly comfortable by all accounts.
