I firmly believe we will turn things round and start moving up the table. Granted, yesterday's result was woeful but we still had chances to get back in the game and salvage a point. We have already got a better squad than last year and with a few more additions can finish mid table.

I for one am willing to give FDB a chance. Rome wasn't built in a day.

This is my way of thinking as well although I did approach the season with a sense of trepidation as I mentioned on HOL earlier in the day.

My son-in-law asked me in midweek about how I felt we would do this season and I expressed certain concerns to him based on fact and instinct.

Only 1 game - let's not over-react but I can understand some of the arguments on here.

More like another one bites the dust.

They got a chance at a double now against us.

Let's see how many other teams they beat before we say only Huddersfield. They looked a solid side, well drilled, who put it about a bit, havd a real goal threat and a very, very good manager.

We have a manager who won 4 successive Eredivisie titles with Ajax.
They have a manager who had never previously managed a first team before he came to Huddersfield although he had worked as a coach with Klopp and Rangnick.

It can only get better surely? We did have 3-4 scoring chances. There is no hiding place after that performance, so the players and manager will hopefully knuckle down this week to put it right.

Either the players will adapt to the system, or we'll buy reinforcements, or the system will change, but our squad is good enough to stay well clear of relegation trouble.

And what's your point exactly Willo?

FdB has no pedigree outside of the Holland as a manager. Seeing both teams yesterday it was rather obvious which one had the better thoughts on the English game.......

Just contrasting the two managers.

We have the high-profile one with successes at Ajax and lost to a team managed by someone who never managed a first team before he came to Huddersfield.

Pretty sure huddersfield wasnt built in a day either :P

Totally agree with the OP tho. Its one game. Things like this take time and with a couple of weeks left in the transfer window people need to calm down and give it a chance.
