I'd love to be proved wrong, but my hunch is he'll stick blindly with 3-4-3 and unless we sort out wing backs out we'll be screwed!

Was at Selhurst yesterday and all 3 goals came from the flank, Joel Ward was out of sorts as was PVA...what's more Puncheon was way too deep leaving no one other than Zaha near Benteke...Zaha needs to be part of the break away not a receiver up top. It was a complete Joke.

Also Why wasn't Speroni playing after having the last 2 competitive friendlies?

We've got a great squad and you tell me how we would have got on with this team instead?

GK Speroni
LB Jeffrey Schlupp / Patrick Van Aanholt
CB Scott Dann
CB Jairo Raidewald
RB Fosu Mensa / Joel Ward

DCM Luka Mili
DCM Loftus Cheek / Yohan Cabaye

LW Andros Townsend / Lokilo
CM Puncheon
RW Wilf

CF Benteke

We don't really have a No. 10 role, Puncheon is off the pace / not good enough...he's still got touch and a pass. Last season at one point he went 46 shots with no goals more than any other player...if we signed someone like Nasri he'd fit in perfectly to this and has been out on loan etc.

4-2-3-1 is our winning formula, playing 3-4-3 is like trying to create an omelette without eggs!

It's THE No.1 problem highlighted in our last game and needs to be fixed now! Otherwise we're F&cked!

4-1-4-1 more like, or 4-3-3. Drop back when under it.

FdB won't adapt?
So he should change his beliefs after one game .
If we play 4-2-3-1 or 4-4-2 next game and we lose should he change again. Maybe he should change his beliefs after every defeat. I mean everyone loves a person who is indecisive and has no courage of his convictions.
Serious question for you. If you were in charge and had a poor day at the office would you abandon your beliefs immediately?
Oh yeah Nasri is poison in the dressing room by all accounts.

Should be to the strengths of what's at your disposal, not your beliefs. That's the whole point. I believed I was going to be a midfield professional or professional tennis star, didn't mean I had the speed to do it.

And you've all decided the players are s***. Once they settle things will be different. As I've said he has his way and that's the way he will do it and he believes he can do it with these players.
Shame he's not a football expert though as he'd know that's impossible wouldn't he? I don't agree with the manager all the time and never will, but I also won't slag someone after 90 minutes.

If we had lost 1 nil and dominated the match I could of accepted it but it was the manner of the defeat. We lost 3-0 but it could easily been 4 or 5 against a side who supposedly the weaker of the 3 promoted sides

and we could have easily scored 3 goals as we had at least 3 very clear chances. As FdB said in his after match interview, we came so close to pulling the game back to 1-2 that it would have changed the game at that point. That's football, sometimes the chances go in and sometimes they don't - for both teams.

Is it? I thought when he came in he said he'd do just what he's doing...3-4-3 giving those here a chance to impress allowing him to identify what's required... He's doing just that... That's the point
