Is Frank just eyeing 1 season?!

Realistically if our two loan players do well....we won't be able to buy them as they'll be 40M each... Are we building for the future or painting over the cracks? I'm excited for this season, but maybe Frank just wants a bigger job and is only worried about this year and that's it? Edited by Xchurch Eagle (10 Aug 2017 5.24pm)

We don't have the funds to fix and change everything in one window but frank obviously wants to change us via a revolution rather than an evolution. And to be fair evolution didn't work under Pardew hopefully doing it this way will work. But we don't have the funds to buy enough of these types of players hence playing the loan market.

If he gets us a comfortable top half finish playing attacking football with a much better home record and we beat the weed home and away he can go after a year with my blessing!! Fat Sam came in for only 5 months and did the job he had to do.

That's if the owning club don't really want them at all whereas in our case they're seeing how well they do. Do well and they may take them back or sell them to the highest bidder.
