Both came on as second-half subs and performed well. Jules, in particular, made five good saves whilst Obi-Wan was a live wire chasing everything that came his way. To be fair to Wayne, he also made some good first-half saves. Good to see so many young players given a chance against a physical side that singled out Wilf for some harsh treatment. It looks like the new system is starting to kick-in.

think obi wan did really well and think he could potentially forge himself a place in the team as thats obviously an area we are lacking in. I think he's the closest out of the youngsters who played in this cup. Anderson looked alright as well against liverpool I thought, with some good movement and with time he could potentially make a good replacement for the likes of campbell. Thought williams looked pretty comfortable when on the ball for the short amount of game time he had. Shame kai kai was injured but Im sure we will see more of him as the season goes on as well as luke dreher. Anyone know whats happened to Hiram Boeteng?

Yeah agreed I think he'll be the first to break through. Not sure he'll be starting XI but I'll be surprised if he's not on the bench. Question is who will be the starting right wing back?
