I know he never hit the ground running at stoke and he'll probably never get back in the Man City team but maybe he'd be worth a punt and I don't think he'd be that expensive either . Unfortunately probably wouldn't get a loan deal as I we are probably going to use that on chambers or Wiltshire

Whether there is enough £ to go round for a deal like this before end of august time will tell.

Scored 8 goals in 3 years, wages would be excessive and surely we want that Dwight Gayle type as an alternative striker.

People, we are Crystal Palace. We have Benteke and Wickham, there is no way that we will sign someone like bony as "back up". If we sign another striker it will either be someone like Campbell (low wages relatively) or be with development in mind and not someone who is likely to be on 100k a week.
