I bet you at least one of them are sold. Do you really think if dann isn't captain. He's happy to sit on the bench. It's demoralising as a footballer . He deserves first team football and a move to China would do him greatly. Mcarthur 12 months left on his deal, poor in the back end of last season, hasn't recovered from his back spasms. Both players have done great things for the club, but now the time to sell and replace with younger, hungry players.

I think Dann & McArthur's problems were more down to fitness issues than anything else last season. They've both proven to be good enough at this level and, if they get through pre-season without any injury problems, I would definitely keep them.

However, there simply has to be an upgrade on the No.10 role - Puncheon scored no league goals last season - none. From a player in his position that is atrocious. I haven't the stats but I would be surprised if any other player in his position performed as badly as that. If he had scored 1 or 2 match winning goals in 38 games - leading to an extra 6 points - we would almost certainly have been secure from relegation weeks before we were. 2 match winning goals from a N0.10 is not too much to ask over an entire season. You have to love the guy but his return is simply not good enough.

Puncheon is the Captain,Dann will be in the team if we do not sign a Centre Half,the nearest he will get to China is a Takeaway at Tong Wongs .
I've seen Jimmy Mac training so I hope he is now fit.
He will endeavour to get in the 11 but will start on the bench if Luka and Cabaye are fit.
