You might as well be describing the Man Utd starting XI...

Funny how they never seem to (go missing) in games against us...

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

It's nowhere near as much as a gamble as morata for a similar fee. will get 25 goals next year wherever he is.

If he isn't frightened by being at a huge club then he could well be a great signing.

The ups and downs of Palace have left me older than my years

An awful lot of money at first glance... but then all prices are inflated. At the end of the window we shall see if that is crazy money or not. Think he will be good for Man U

Everton are laughing all the way to the bank. He's a good player, but tends to go missing against the lesser clubs.

I don't think it's that outrageous money for a 24 year old who's scored 145 goals at better than one in two, and has hit double figures in five Premier League seasons in a row. People forget how young Lukaku is, he was only 24 in May!

He could conceivably be United's first choice striker for 8-10 years, and if that is the case then it's a bargain.

Employee of the month is a good example of how someone can be both a winner and a loser at the same time.

That's £100,000,000 including salary for someone to kick a football 38 times a year for 90mins each time. It is totally outrageous. Could build 1,000 homes for that. And he's not even world class.

One hundred million pounds. Let it sink in.

Isn't everything about modern football outrageous.

Oddly enough if he can score enough goals to fire Manchester United into the Champions League each year it will have been a cost effective excercise

Pretty much. He's going to be one of the biggest players in the game. His potential at the age of 24 ranks him with players of the highest calibre across Europe (from Michael Owen to Ronaldo).

Simply staggering how impressive his record is at his age.

First choice Belgium striker. Scored 20 goals in 57 international appearances. Has scored at both a World Cup Finals and European Cup finals (Quarter finals).

Like every striker he has good games, and bad games.
