Three left backs is a little over the top.

PVA could be used as a wing back or cover for Townsend subject to system the Manager wishes to play.
We will not be able to sell Souare’s until he has proven that he is back to form and fitness, could be loaned out maybe.
Selling PVA or Schlupp would probably result in a lose as we paid top Dollar.
What do you think?

You've answered your own question. We need 2. We have 2. We also have one who isn't fit and probably won't be for quite a while.

Schlupp and less so PVA can play left midfield, so selling either would be madness.

Left side sorted! PVA and Andros with Schlupp more than capable of giving cover to either.

Pape and recover add to the depth.

Great buisnesss signing them both.

Now what about CB?

Wouldn't want to sell Papa Souare. If he can get fit it will be like having a new player. He's a big fan favourite and a very exciting player to watch.

Fantastic news, I really thought he might never play professionally again.

I'm glad Souare is getting back to fitness but he is a player we should be offloading in January as soon as he is fit. By far the most inferior of the 3 vying for the LB slot. Has a good cross on him and a bit of pace but occasionally too rash in the tackle and a worrying inability to stop crosses from coming in - he made Ward look solid.

He's not good enough in a position where we have ample cover now.

Let's let the lad get fit again before we right him off.
