It seems as he still along from match fitness after his terrible car accident. Is it to much of a risk to include him in a premier league 25 man squad or should we consider loaning him out in the championship for 6 months. I hope his back in red and blue soon and wish him a speedy recovery.

Any latest on papa ?

I think you're right with PVA and Schlupp the best thing for the player and for the club is to send him out on loan certainly until January and then have another look once the squads need to be named at the start of Feb

3 left backs in a squad is unnecessary. Decision to be made if he does come back strong.

On the eagles.cpfc channel the fitness coach Scott guryett said they will compare how far behind soaure is compared to others members of the squad.

There's general fitness and match fitness and sharpness. The expected return is unknown.

We're hardly flush with wingers at the moment. I wonder whether Schlupp might be competing for the left wing and leaving PVA and Souare to fight it out for the left back spot.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

I agree, 6 months somewhere he'll get regular game time (assuming he's fit enough) and we can reassess as Xmas.

I'd personally put PVA and Schlopp ahead of Souare but he's still a decent player. Hope he continues his recovery and is able to play at the same level again.

Looking at his postings whilst trying to get back to fitness I have no doubt that his determination and will to succeed that he is showing will pay off.
