Andrea Leadsom creating fake news re: Brexit negotiations and clearly bring to mask over media freedom of speech by stating that they have to be patriotic. What do you think? I can't help but feel that Leadsom is just programmed to address Brexit and pretty much hopeless and out of touch on anything else.

The BBC is a joke these days. I resent having to pay a licence fee to fund left-liberal propaganda.

It is a heavily edited interview, which is naughty by the BBC. The interviewing style was too aggressive and unpleasant. Irrelevant of my own personal views I thought Leadson made some valid points about the EU's propaganda.

I know what she means and it's an alienating problem for the BBC. Its refusal to recognise its own problem and the fact that people are moving to other media has eroded its support and is leading to its eventual downgrade. A big problem is the BBC doesn't reflect the society around it politically. It has a massive hard on for skin colour and anything visually different yet when it comes to class or political view it's as stuck in its ways as it ever was. It keeps putting out the lie that it is politically even when it just isn't. There has been analysis that literally proves this. If the BBC is going to save itself it needs to ensure that who it employs reflect the political landscape of the country both politically and class wise. I think many good people work in the BBC and I think it does many things well....Some of its Radio is amongst the best in the world....but for the money that's spent on it...overall the returns aren't that great.

The licence fee is a separate issue however surely it is the right of ant media enterprise to scrutinise the workings of Government and any other tax payer funded public body (including the BBC itself that it has done on many an occasion in the past e.g. resignation of Greg Dyke etc) I don't see many people coming forward to criticise Tory bias of Sky News / ITV etc especially made even clearer by given company and shareholder background...
