Drive By Shooting in Croydon

Wellesley Road last night around 10pm Bloke on a motorcycle shot a 24 year old passenger in a stationary car. I am guessing gangs and drugs, could be wrong.

Croydon town centre very slow going now, lots of closures. It appears the shooting must have been at a moving car, almost opposite the Police station. As Hedgehog says, chickens coming home to roost. Fewer Police on the streets and a generation of people with little investment in the mainstream economy.

Some 20 something t1ts a few weeks ago in a car beeped their horn, drove past me slowly and made pistol shapes with their fingers. Residential area of Purley as well. Will make it to Caterham soon.

Wow, changed a lot. I used to live in East Croydon in the mid-80s, before the tram. Was a very nice place then.
