Fred West must be spinning in his grave, fancy being associated with a t*** like Lineker.

I know you don't rate Shipman, but he's right up there for me.

Nope - I laughed when I saw it too, that's why I shared it here

A numbers man, lacking the panache and style of a serial killer. However, I was reading some of the FBI material on serial criminals, and they reckon that there are a number of 'Shipman's' out there, an 'elite' of serial killers, who are stable enough to avoid patterns and signatures, who probably get away with it all their life, leaving few clues and otherwise manage to live perfectly ordinary lives without ever coming into contact with law enforcement - Keeping their profile low key enough not to have their prints or DNA on file (or being very careful in terms of commiting their crimes).

Statistical profiling of crimes shows evidence of this, areas where the murder rate is just above the average expectation for a period of time, and just a little too consistent in the unsolved murders.

The difference with Shipman though was that I don't think he saw himself as a serial killer. Whereas I expect Bundy and Ramirez (for example) were acutely aware....? I dunno. He's been re-categorised as a "medical killer" now I think anyway.

Read about an 8 year old serial killer in India the other day. You'd have to be a bit disappointed in him if you were his parents.

It's very funny. I wonder if Walkers are actually pleased though as it is a campaign that I had not seen until someone started hijacking it.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

If I were Fred West (and still alive), I'd be furious and thoroughly ashamed seeing me associated with that c*nt.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham
