Seems like Parish is going to try to lure Marco Silva. What's people's thoughts on his as a potential opponentment?

Sounds like we haven't heard from Parish becuase he's working tirelessly hard to sort the situation.

Terrible appointment in my opinion. He Lost at home to Sunderland. 7 defeats in 9 away from home. We smashed them 4-0. He's left he's last 2 job after a year. If this man is so good why didn't he keep hull up. Typical Palace cheap appointment.

No thanks. His teams dont score and concede bucket loads of goals plus he cant win away from home and he signed a useless lump like Niasse

Good managers are not immune from bad results, Allardyce as an example getting beaten by Swansea, Burnley, Sunderland all while he was here.

I don't know much about Silva but I have been looking at his record : Estoril : Promoted to Portugal top tier. Sporting : Finished 3rd in the league and won the cup.Apart from them, only Benfica and Porto tend to win things ! Olympiakos : Won the league ! They always win the league and have won it 16 times since 2000 ! Hull : Took over a difficult situation but trhey only won 6 out of 18 league games and were relegated. Looking at his record, one can understand why there are those who are wondering what the great attraction is about him. Edited by Willo (24 May 2017 6.46pm)

I'm completely on the fence as I haven't followed this guy. But points wise he did win enough for them to stay up if they hadn't been in such a hole in the first place. 21 points from 18 games is more than sam was aiming for with us. 1 point per game I remember him saying. Plus let's be fair they did sell there best players and the squad he had left was SHOCKING. So kinda looks like he got the best out of a poor bunch. Can't imagine he'd stay for more than a season though based on his previous appointments. If we do we'll he'd like leave for Everton or Southampton and then everyone will cry at Parish about not being able to retain managers. Mixed feelings with this one.... Problem is no one really is out their without a club that's better than Sam in my eyes. Also not sure if this guy will be able to attract the same quality of players as Sam did. What a pickle we're in! Edited by Goldfiinger (24 May 2017 6.52pm)
