It seems to me every time we lose that it's always the fault of puncheon, Hennessy, ward or Kelly. Whereas these are weak areas of the team. The performances of many this season of entirety has been poor excluding Zaha. Where we'd all like to see these areas improved in the summer. Weren't all this players involved in the great victories against arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool. The blame culture well and truly started when pardew arrived. I included myself of being guilty.

IMHO lately the main reason has been the absence of Cabaye.

He's proved how important he really is especially under Sam. Cabaye really flourished.

This what I'm trying to say. You win as a team. Lose as a team. We know it's a weak area but there's been games this season. where's Townsend was woeful mostly under Pardew. While these 3 or 4 get critized every time we lose. Ward made the most prem appearances and an ever present. Puncheon the stat that we haven't achieved a prem win without him. Hennessy is a number 2 goalie that was forced to play because of mandanda injury and then his lack of desire. Martin Kelly had to be ultised in a numerous position this season. His left back slot is best forgotten but I'm sure he gave his all. It time we unite and stick up and get behind our boys. Coyp

You're asking me what it's all about, and I can't tell you because I don't know what's going on myself.

Today was a poor effort all round, but the reason people usually focus on the likes of Hennessey, Ward, Puncheon and Kelly is because they often don't perform well.

Who gave a sh@t about today really ?
Did you really expect our team to turn up today after last weeks effort.

Get over it and enjoy the record breaking achievement.

Even Zaha at times has been absent, like the first 15-20 minutes yesterday, he just didn't seem interested. Thankfully he then stepped up and had a decent game but he disappeared a few times throughout the season.

The worrying bit in this is that he's an excellent player and well worthy of being our Player of the Year, but when our best player goes AWOL from time to time what hope have we got for the rest?

Cynic or realist? It's a fine line!

As a collective the players have let us down. Yes we stayed in the league and certainly would of accepted that after Sunderland but as good as Sakho been for player to get nominated for the cpfc poty. Says a lot about the whole squad rather than the selected few.

Its a shame as Ward was a favourite player of mine but had steadily deteriorated year on year! Our team is evolving and with that the lesser players have to leave or become back up players.
I would love to see all of the team that got us up out there, but they would be fodder if playing now.
I never thought I would get over Jedi leaving, but in Luka we have a younger more gifted player.
Wayne has done a job but there are too many weakness's he has for a keeper.
A young lad on coach yesterday who plays as a keeper pointed them out and hopefully he will become our keeper one day!
