Not too bad, when you consider what we have been through. That mid-table group is very tight. Just think: if we had taken six points from Swansea instead of none, we'd have finished eighth! Edited by peterg (21 May 2017 5.00pm)

But we were s*** today, esp. 1st half. Zaha always seems to try too hard against the red ones - still 14th in a season we looked at relegation last weekend.

Has to be considered a good season, with scalps from Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool under our belts to boot.

Would've settled for 14th at start of season given that we are a middle-of-the-table club at present and it wasn't that long ago that we faced near prospect of liquidation. Key for next season is squad growth and stability in board and management so as to march further up the table.

Overall my view on the season is 14th in the premier league is better than last season but could of done alot better I've worked out we have dropped 12 points this season with defeats to burnley 4-3 Swansea 5-4 sunderland 0-4 Watford 1-1 all them games we were leading and a missed penalty that extra 12 points would of got us at least 8 as I've said we should of been top 10 I will expect at least better next season

Would have had your arm off for that given the s*** we were in when Pardew was finally booted out.

It's not every season you beat arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool

Shows how equally poor everyone is outside the top 6 when we can improve on last season despite being bad most of the year.
